The Ralph H. Johnson VA Health Care System at the Charleston VA Medical Center is seeking a contractor to supply, deliver, and install custom commercial-grade stainless steel food service serving line worktables for the Canteen Dining Room. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs, Ralph H. Johnson VA Health Care System, Charleston VA Medical Center, Interior Design Office - OEMs and Vendors: - Advance Tabco (OEM for all specified worktables) - Products Requested: - Three custom commercial kitchen grade stainless steel worktables: - 2 units: Advance Tabco EK-SS-368 (96"L x 36"D, 14-gauge top, 5" backsplash, heavy duty locking casters, urn trough, hinged doors with locks, tray slide, apron, kick plate, plastic HPL laminate surface, plumbing and electrical cut outs) - 1 unit: Advance Tabco EK-SS-365 (60"L x 36"D, similar features as above) - Services Requested: - Delivery to site - Installation of new worktables in tandem for a serving line arrangement - Removal and off-site disposal of existing casework (one-for-one basis) - Daily cleanup and debris removal - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All worktables must meet detailed custom specifications for commercial kitchen use - Electrical connection and plumbing hookup are not required for installation completion - Set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) - Contractor must begin work within 10 business days of award and complete installation within 10 business days of starting

Description

The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) has a requirement to procure, deliver and install  food service serving line worktables in the Canteen Dining Room. Under this contract this includes removal and disposal of all existing casework on a one-for-one basis.  This requirement is for new custom commercial kitchen grade worktables installed in tandem for a serving line arrangement.  (See Canteen Floor Plan).  

Description of installation:  The Contractor shall provide all labor, hardware and materials, contractor’s own tools and equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to satisfy the needs of this requirement. Refer to the drawing for the locations of each worktable.

The contractor shall complete this work within ten (10) business days of the onset of the work. The work shall begin two weeks, (10) business days of award.

All debris, dust and dirt shall be cleaned up on a daily basis by the contractor. Debris of any kind shall be removed off-site by the contractor.

The contractor(s) shall be available to meet at the site within ten (10) days of contract award, in person at the building site. Time and date will be determined by the COR.
