The Military Sealift Command (MSC), Service Ships Support Program Office (PM42), is seeking information for the potential charter of a U.S. flag, Jones Act compliant vessel to support Navy operations. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Navy, Military Sealift Command, Service Ships Support Program Office (PM42) - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Products/Services Requested: - Charter of one U.S. flag, Jones Act compliant vessel - Vessel must support general purpose ocean towing, salvage, and deep submergence rescue operations - Key vessel requirements: - Minimum 130-ton bollard pull - Dual towing winches - 30,000-pound crane - 5,000 sq ft clear working deck - DP-2 station keeping capability - Off-ship firefighting capability - Accommodations for 40 transient personnel - Broadband communications - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Vessel must be Jones Act compliant (U.S. built, owned, and crewed) - Capable of Navy unique deep submergence rescue operations - Operations to be conducted along the U.S. East/Gulf Coast and North Atlantic

THE MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND (MSC), SERVICE SHIPS SUPPORT PROGRAM OFFICE, PM42, REQUESTS INFORMATION PERTAINING TO ONE U.S. FLAG, JONES ACT COMPLIANT, VESSEL TO SUPPORT GENERAL PURPOSE OCEAN TOWING, SALVAGE, AND RESCUE OPERATIONS IN COASTAL AND DEEP OCEAN AREAS; INCLUDING NAVY UNIQUE DEEP SUBMERGENCE RESCUE OPERATIONS.
