The Town of Prosper is seeking competitive sealed proposals for the construction of Mahard Parkway Medians. - Government Buyer: - Town of Prosper Purchasing Office (Collin County, TX) - OEMs and Vendors: - Hunter (specified for irrigation valves) - No other OEMs named; general contractors and landscaping vendors expected - Products and Services Requested: - Mobilization and move-in (1 LS) - General site preparation, clearing, and disposal (71,030 SF) - Installation of new signs and sign posts (5 EA) - Project sign installation and maintenance (4 EA) - Inlet protection for stormwater management (9 EA) - Median nose paving, stamped and stained (5,970 SF, P-1) - Maintenance ramps (2 EA, P-2) - Steel edging (1,810 LF, M-1) - Decorative gravel: Colorado River Rock (16,625 SF, AG-1) and Gray Granite/Basalt (5,125 SF, AG-2) - Planting and establishment of Palisades Zoysia grass with 4-inch topsoil (43,250 SF) - Permanent irrigation system installation (18,800 SF), including Hunter ICV-G valves, Highline valve boxes, and ball valves at each valve - Connection to existing irrigation main line (2-inch, 1 EA) - PVC conduit installation (4-inch, Schedule 40, 220 LF, bore) - Connection and repair of existing irrigation for north medians (1 LS) - Unique or Notable Requirements: - No TxDOT qualification required - Strict insurance minimums (A.M. Best A- VI or better) - Bid security (5%), performance bond (115%), payment bond (100%), and two-year maintenance bond (100%) required - Irrigation system must match existing precipitation rates and use specified Hunter components - Plans and specifications available for download; preproposal meeting scheduled online

Description

The Town of Prosper is soliciting competitive sealed proposals for the construction of Mahard Parkway Medians. The project includes furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the construction work. Proposals can be submitted online or in hard copy by July 7, 2026, with a proposal opening held online the same day. The successful contractor must provide performance, payment, and maintenance bonds, as well as required insurance coverage.
