The U.S. Department of Education, in coordination with the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs at the U.S. Department of State, is soliciting applications to support the administration of the Mutual Educational and Cultural Exchange (MECE) program. The program aims to promote and develop modern foreign language training and area studies in U.S. educational institutions by supporting visits and study abroad for teachers and prospective teachers.
