The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of Acquisitions, Office of the Director, is seeking small business providers for specialized rodent genotyping support services for the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS). - Government Buyer: - Department of Health and Human Services - National Institutes of Health (NIH) - Office of Acquisitions, Office of the Director - Services Requested: - DNA extraction and multi-gene analysis for rodent tissue samples - Processing approximately 1,480 samples per month - Includes sample collection materials, shipping/courier services, and storage for six months - PCR assays for 1-10 genes per sample - Weekly quality assurance on 1% of samples - Retesting of failed analyses at no additional cost - Data reporting via a secure online bioinformatics database compatible with the government LabTracks system - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Secure online database must interface with LabTracks - High-throughput processing and quality assurance standards - All-inclusive service (from collection to data reporting) - No specific OEMs or proprietary products are named in the solicitation
