The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP), Facilities Management Branch, is seeking suppliers for a nationwide Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to provide razor ribbon and perimeter security materials for its institutions. - Government Buyer: - Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP), Facilities Management Branch - Products/Services Requested: - Razor wire coils (barbed tape), both non-reinforced and wire-reinforced, 30-inch diameter - Non-reinforced barbed tape: 101 loops per roll, ASTM A 666 stainless steel, four-barb clusters - Reinforced barbed tape: 51 loops per roll, ASTM A 176 or Type 430 stainless steel, stainless or galvanized core wire, eight-barb clusters - Installation ties: - Stainless steel wire ties: 7" long, 16 gauge, three twists, minimum three per foot - Stainless steel hog rings: 12.5 gauge, minimum three per foot (not for use with electronic detection) - Ground stakes: #3 galvanized reinforcing rods, 18" long with 180° end hook - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All materials must meet ASTM and industry standards - Vendors must provide customer service, shipping, and technical support - Delivery required within 30 days, FOB destination - Contract includes a base year plus four option years (up to five years total) - No specific OEMs, brands, or part numbers are specified; products must meet detailed technical specifications outlined in the SOW.
Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP), Facilities Management Branch located at 320 First St, NW in Washington D.C. intends to make a single award to a responsible entity that will provide contracted supplies to replace and/or establish new Perimeter Security fence materials as well as Razor Ribbon and associated materials via a blanket purchase agreement (BPA).
