This action extends the Order Limiting Operations at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) originally published on January 18, 2008, and most recently extended on October 27, 2024. The Order limits scheduled arrivals and departures at JFK to 81 per hour during slot-controlled hours and imposes an 80% minimum usage requirement for Operating Authorizations. It allows for trades and leases of Operating Authorizations with FAA approval and establishes procedures for allocation and withdrawal of these authorizations. The Order remains effective until October 28, 2028, to mitigate congestion and delays at JFK and maintain operational efficiency.
