The Department of the Army, through Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall (JBM-HH), is seeking a contractor for comprehensive kitchen exhaust hood and dryer duct cleaning services across multiple facilities in the National Capital Region. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Army, Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall (JBM-HH) - Services Requested: - Quarterly cleaning of kitchen exhaust systems (including hoods, filters, ducts, access panels, and exhaust fans) to bare-metal condition - Semi-annual cleaning of dryer ducts (including lint traps, internal cavities, blower assemblies, and vent terminations) - Inspections, airflow testing, grease removal, and detailed deficiency reporting - Key Requirements: - Compliance with NFPA 96 (kitchen exhaust) and NFPA 54/211 (dryer ducts) standards - OSHA safety training for all personnel - Contractor certifications: IKECA (International Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Association) and C-DET (Certified Dryer Exhaust Technician) - Contractor must maintain a local office within 100 miles of Washington, DC - Detailed documentation and reporting for all services - No specific OEMs, part numbers, or product brands are specified in the solicitation - All technical and performance requirements are detailed in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS)
