Description

CapMetro intends to award a sole source contract to Stadler Rail Service US to provide maintenance for its fleet of Stadler commuter rail trains. The contract ensures continuity of vehicle maintenance as CapMetro transitions Commuter Rail Services in-house starting January 1, 2027. Stadler will provide technical support including corrective and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, quality assurance, and engineering expertise, as well as spare parts sourcing and supply strategy. The services must be in place by October 1, 2026, and the bid response must be submitted in paper format.
