NYSERDA is seeking proposals to support the rapid decarbonization and increased resilience of municipal utilities and rural electric cooperatives in New York State. The scope includes Climate Impact Vulnerability Assessments and Resilience Planning, Renewables and Innovation Analytics / Pre-Feasibility/ Feasibility Studies, and Demonstrations of Net Zero / Deep Decarbonization Solutions. Project proposers may include one or more electric municipal utilities or rural electric cooperatives, or other entities applying on their behalf with evidence of commitment. The contract term is one year, and the solicitation aims to address new operating considerations due to climate change and decarbonization efforts.
