Description
SUNY Upstate Medical University intends to purchase Bone Cement and Related Products from a contract awarded by Premier pursuant to its authority under section 163 (3) (vi), which authorizes purchases from a consortium or comparable entity without a formal competitive process when justified by price. Vendors offering equivalent Bone Cement and Related Products may contact the primary contact to discuss the procurement and must demonstrate equivalency by meeting the clinical performance of the Stryker Bone Cement and Related Products. Vendors must provide free supporting clinical documentation and equipment for examination, demonstration, and trial, and must be authorized to sell Stryker Bone Cement or approved equivalents. The procurement is subject to NYS Finance Law §139 j&k (Lobbying Law), restricting contact to the designated individual only. Successful contractors must submit valid and current NYS Workman’s Compensation and Disability Forms.
