SUNY Upstate Medical University is seeking to procure Bone Cement and Related Products for clinical use. - Government Buyer: - State University of New York (SUNY), SUNY Upstate Medical University - OEMs and Vendors: - Stryker (primary OEM referenced) - Vendors must be authorized to sell Stryker Bone Cement or approved equivalents listed on the Premier contract - Products/Services Requested: - Bone Cement and Related Products (Stryker or equivalent) - Must meet or exceed the clinical performance of Stryker Bone Cement - Products must be listed on the Premier contract or be approved equivalents - Vendors must provide free clinical documentation demonstrating equivalency - Equipment for examination, demonstration, and trial must be supplied at no cost - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Vendors must demonstrate clinical equivalency to Stryker's products - Only authorized vendors may participate - Compliance with New York State Lobbying Law and submission of valid NYS Workman’s Compensation and Disability Forms required - Stryker has a history of similar contract awards in the past five years

Description

SUNY Upstate Medical University intends to purchase Bone Cement and Related Products from a contract awarded by Premier pursuant to its authority under section 163 (3) (vi), which authorizes purchases from a consortium or comparable entity without a formal competitive process when justified by price. Vendors offering equivalent Bone Cement and Related Products may contact the primary contact to discuss the procurement and must demonstrate equivalency by meeting the clinical performance of the Stryker Bone Cement and Related Products. Vendors must provide free supporting clinical documentation and equipment for examination, demonstration, and trial, and must be authorized to sell Stryker Bone Cement or approved equivalents. The procurement is subject to NYS Finance Law §139 j&k (Lobbying Law), restricting contact to the designated individual only. Successful contractors must submit valid and current NYS Workman’s Compensation and Disability Forms.
