Under this notice, the United States Army Corps of Engineers - Chicago District is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for an under-bridge snooper truck.*GOVERNMENT REQUIREMENTS: In this acquisition The Government is seeking vendors to provide one (1) operated Under Bridge Access Equipment (UB) unit and all necessary traffic control services to support the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in conducting under-bridge safety inspections. The services are required for a total of two (2) consecutive business days at two (2) separate locations: one day at the Lockport Lock Access Bridge in Lockport, IL, and one day at the J Edward Roush Lake Dam in Huntington, IN. The contractor is responsible for providing the UB unit, certified operators, and a complete traffic control package including personnel and equipment. The government is responsible for performing the actual bridge inspections. In order to submit a quote, your firm must register with sam.gov, as a pre-requirement to do business with the federal government and prior to registering with the DoD Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE)system. Your firm must register with PIEE in order to access the solicitation and must submit quote responses in PIEE.
