The U.S. Embassy Koror, under the U.S. Department of State, is seeking qualified contractors for a comprehensive renovation of the CMR Guard House in Palau. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of State, U.S. Embassy Koror, Contracting Officer: Andrew Danto - Scope of Work: - Complete renovation of the CMR Guard House, including: - Carpentry, electrical, telecommunications, mechanical (HVAC), finishes, roofing, and drainage - Installation of new electrical and telecommunication systems - Replacement of deteriorated wood framing - Installation of a new split-type air conditioning unit (at least 18,000 BTU, corrosion resistant, compliant with ASHRAE, ISO, UL, EPA standards) - New solid-core wood door with ANSI grade 2 deadbolt locks, fire-retardant treated - Fiber cement board interior wall panels (16mm thick, non-combustible, moisture-resistant, ASTM C1186 compliant) - New electrical panelboard (2-phase, 60 Amps, 16-space, 32-circuit, flush-mounted) - Exhaust fan for toilet (minimum 50 CFM, through-the-wall, wired to light switch) - Vynadeep Gutter System or approved equivalent (non-metal, with manufacturer accessories) - Restoration of all disturbed areas - Contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, insurance, and an English-speaking supervisor onsite - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Strict compliance with U.S., local, and international building standards - Coordination with local utilities and authorities, including obtaining permits - Daily reporting, submittals, and post-construction documentation required - All work must be completed within 150 working days after Notice to Proceed - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; "Vynadeep Gutter System" is referenced as a standard or equivalent

Enclosed is a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for Koror CMR Guard House Renovation. If you would like to submit a quotation, follow the instructions in Section J of the solicitation, complete the required portions of the attached document, and submit it to the address shown on the Standard Form that follows this letter.
The U.S. Government intends to award a contract/purchase order to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price. We intend to award a contract/purchase order based on initial proposals, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.
Quotations are due by 4:30 PM, 08 July 2026. No quotations will be accepted after this time. Quotations must be in English and incomplete quotations will not be accepted.
Your quotation must be submitted electronically to TeriongKL@state.gov. It is important to make sure the submission is made in a specific size and format; in the latest MS-Word or MS-Excel or Adobe Acrobat (pdf) file format. The file size must not exceed 30MB. If the file size should exceed 30MB, the submission must be made in separate files and attached to separate emails with less than 30MB each.
