Description

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE, NOT A REQUEST FOR A QUOTE (RFQ).  A RFQ WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND QUOTES WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. 

In accordance with FAR 6.103-1, the Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis for: 

NAV10-001 Rev A INTERFACE-6061 – Qty 350 each 

NAV10-002 Rev A LID-6061 – Qty 350 each 

Shipping Costs – Qty 1 lot (4 instances) 

to Small Parts Mfg. (SPM) Co. Inc., 4401 NE MLK Jr. Blvd., Portland, OR, 97211 as the manufacturer and sole distributor. The tolerances and coating specifications are controlled by SPM who also controls the prototype and process information. The above-mentioned hardware must match the existing electronic and mounting hardware in form-fit-function and are direct replacements of units damaged in the field. Therefore, the hardware can only be bought from SPM. 

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; no solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 06/29/2026 @ 1 PM PST.  The written response shall reference solicitation number N68936-26-SIMACQ-DB0000M/EB0000M-0371 and must provide a clear and concise capability statement to show the ability to perform the required work without compromising the quality, accuracy, reliability and schedule.  Written responses to this notice shall be submitted to email: Christine Beltramo at christine.r.beltramo.civ@us.navy.mil

Going forward, all new entities registering in GSA's System for Award Management (SAM), as well as existing registrations being updated or renewed, will require the submission of an original, signed notarized letter identifying the authorized Entity Administrator for the entity associated with the Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number.  Effective June 11, 2018, entities who create or update their registration in SAM.gov to apply only for federal assistance opportunities such as grants, loans, and other financial assistance programs, have a notarized letter on file within 30 days of registration.  Additionally, Effective June 29, 2018, all non-Federal entities who create or update their registration in SAM.gov, have a notarized letter on file within 30 days of registration.  It is recommended that all interested parties be aware that processing this additional information may take several days and are proactive in maintaining the SAM registrations in an "Active" status as the government cannot award to an entity without an "Active" SAM registration.  More information can be found at www.gsa.gov/samupdate
