USDA Forest Service Office Trailer Utility Connections Construction Project

The USDA Forest Service is seeking a contractor for utility connections to three mobile trailers at the Los Prietos Complex in Santa Barbara, California. - Government Buyer: - US Department of Agriculture, Santa Barbara Ranger District, Los Prietos Complex - Procurement Operations, Construction and A-E Division West - Scope of Work: - Connect two office trailers and one shower/bathroom trailer to existing water, wastewater, and electric utilities - Includes trenching, installation of utility poles, conduits, piping, breaker panels, junction boxes, and asphalt patching - Mobilization and final cleanup required - Products/Services Requested: - 2 x 25' utility poles - Overhead electrical conductors (approx. 50 feet) - Electrical conduit, junction boxes, circuit panels, and breaker panels - PVC water piping, water risers, and wastewater lines (approx. 40 feet) - Backfill and hot-mix asphalt patch for trenches - Electrical and plumbing connections for each trailer - Unique Requirements: - Contractor must be licensed in California - All materials must be US-manufactured - Mandatory site visit attendance - Deliverables include project plans, shop drawings, and weekly status reports - Estimated contract value: $25,000 to $100,000 - No specific OEMs or branded products are mentioned; work is construction and utility installation - Period of performance: Start within 10 days of notice to proceed, complete within 14 days - Small business set-aside - All quotes and RFIs must be submitted via email to the Contracting Officer

- All quotes shall be emailed to the Contracting Officer (Gregory.Cunningham@usda.gov) no later than July 14th, 2026, 10:00 AM Pacific Time.
