NASA Johnson Space Center is seeking industry partners to support advanced underwater training and testing for human spaceflight research and technology development. - Government Buyer: - NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) - Services Requested: - Comprehensive underwater training and testing capability demonstration - Includes infrastructure, personnel, training, materials, food, supplies, and operational support - Subsea saturation habitat support for at least five days - Helmet diving operations and bi-directional telemetry - Facility control center operations, data and payload integration, and regulatory compliance - Planning and facility readiness activities - Facility validation, coordination and joint test planning, site visits, and readiness reviews - Training and demonstration missions - Diver and habitat operations training for six NASA personnel - Baseline saturation mission (minimum 5 days) with 2 habitat and 2 shore/vessel personnel - Integrated space analog demonstration (5 days, option) with 4 habitat and 4 shore/vessel personnel - Artemis surface mission rehearsal (10 days, option) with 4 habitat and 6 shore/vessel personnel - Deliverables include planning documents, readiness reviews, execution of training, integration documentation, and reporting - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Support for multi-day subsea saturation missions - Flexible mission timelines and crew allocations to accommodate NASA scheduling - Advanced training protocols and IRB-approved protocols for Artemis mission rehearsal - Rescue diver certification required for certain missions - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named in the solicitation - No products, part numbers, or purchase quantities specified; focus is on specialized services

Description

The following in a formal Request for Information (RFI) posted by the National Aeronautics & Space Administration (NASA) Johnson Space Center (JSC) for the purpose of identifying potential industry partners who can provide the services listed in the following Performance Work Statement. This RFI does NOT constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) or Request for Proposal (RFP), nor does it promise that an RFQ or RFP will be forthcoming. Rather, this is merely an attempt by JSC to determine if an industry partner exists that can provide these services on a commercially available platform. If an RFQ or RFP stems from this RFI, it will be posted separately and independently from this RFI at a later date to be determined in the future. Unsolicited proposals will not be considered unless it is determined to be in the best interest of the Government, In Accordance with applicable regulations.

This is strictly a request for information. The Government has no obligation for award. If interested please provide a capabilities statement by Monday, July 6, 2026.
