Description
The County of San Mateo is soliciting proposals for professional services to supervise and administer automobile liability, medical-malpractice, and property claims. The contractor will provide supervisory, administrative, and adjustment services for claims within the County's self-insured retained limit and coordinate with insurance carriers for claims exceeding this limit. Services include adjusting existing claims, conducting investigations, managing claims data, negotiating settlements, and providing periodic reports to the County. The contract term is a minimum of one year, not to exceed five years, with the current agreement expiring on December 31, 2026.
