Description
In accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA), the Murray State University Archaeology Laboratory has completed an inventory of human remains and determined a cultural affiliation with Indian Tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations. The human remains represent at least one individual removed from site 15Ba105 in Ballard County, KY, during an archaeological survey in 1991. No associated funerary objects are present, and repatriation may occur on or after July 22, 2026. The affiliated tribes include the Shawnee Tribe and The Chickasaw Nation.
