This opportunity seeks sources for the removal and replacement of approximately 4,370 square feet of carpet at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado, under the Air Force's mandatory Carpet II program. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, 21st Contracting Squadron (Peterson SFB), with program oversight by the Air Force Civil Engineering Center (AFCEC) - OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers): - Bentley Mills - Engineered Floors - Interface Americas - Mannington - Milliken - Mohawk - Tarkett - Products/Services Requested: - Removal and disposal of existing carpet and rubber cove base - Installation of new commercial-grade carpet tiles or planks (24x24" or 9x36") with low VOC adhesives - Replacement of 4-inch rubber cove base in approved colors (charcoal, navy, dark blue, dark gray, or black) - All carpet products must meet severe wear standards (>8-10 years), minimum 5,000 density, and comply with Peterson SFB Design Guide 5.7.9 - Installation to follow manufacturer recommendations and Air Force safety/environmental standards - Warranty: 12 months for labor and materials - Notable Requirements: - Only Tier I OEMs (listed above) are authorized under the Air Force Carpet II program unless a waiver is granted - Products must comply with NSF/ANSI 140 sustainability standards - Contractor must coordinate with base personnel to minimize disruption, handle furniture moving, door trimming, and site cleanup - Estimated project duration is 60 calendar days - Highlighted OEMs: - Bentley Mills, Engineered Floors, Interface Americas, Mannington, Milliken, Mohawk, Tarkett are the only approved manufacturers for carpet products under this program

This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.

The 21st Contracting Squadron is seeking potential sources for the removal and replacement of flooring, approximately 4,370 square feet of carpet on the first floor of Building 122, Peterson Space Force Base (PSFB), CO. This is not a request for quotes and does not obligate the Government to any actions. Please refer to the attachment "Sources Sought" for instructions and additional information.
