Description

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) announces its decision to renew exemptions for 13 individuals from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations requirement that interstate commercial motor vehicle drivers have no established medical history or clinical diagnosis of epilepsy or any other condition likely to cause loss of consciousness or loss of ability to control a commercial motor vehicle. These exemptions allow individuals who have had seizures and are taking anti-seizure medication to continue operating commercial motor vehicles in interstate commerce.
