The City of Hialeah Information Technology Department is seeking bids for a comprehensive fiber optic cabling project to connect multiple municipal buildings within the north compound. - Government Buyer: - City of Hialeah Information Technology Department - Scope of Work: - Installation of new 10 Gbps fiber optic cables connecting the Police Main Station, Emergency Operations Center, Police Training Building, Parks & Community Engagement, Construction & Maintenance, Solid Waste, and Fleet Maintenance facilities - Vendor must provide all fiber, hardware, and accessories - Includes site surveys, engineering design, and both outside plant (OSP) and inside plant (ISP) fiber links - Installation of 12-strand single-mode (OS2) fiber for inter-building connections - All labeling, OTDR and throughput testing, commissioning, and as-built documentation required - Project management, site cleanup, and demobilization included - Minimum one-year warranty on all work and materials - Notable Requirements: - Compliance with all applicable codes and standards - Work primarily during normal business hours, with after-hours work possible for cutover - Project must be completed within 60 days of notice to proceed - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Products/Services Requested: - 12-strand single-mode (OS2) fiber optic cable - Fiber termination hardware and accessories - Project management, site survey, engineering design, installation, testing, commissioning, documentation, and warranty
