NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, on behalf of the Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command (NCDOC), is seeking information from vendors for Data Protection and Recovery Services. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Navy - Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command (NCDOC) - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the documents - Products/Services Requested: - Data Protection and Recovery Services - Off-site tape vaulting for classified and unclassified backup tapes - Secure transportation in environmentally controlled vehicles - Secure vaulting and preservation of magnetic media - Bar coding and serial labeling technology - Media management services (8 periods) - Secure key management - Scheduled weekly pickups and delivery of empty cases - 267 closed containers/vaults - 4 trips for unclassified backup tape vaulting (119 containers) - 4 trips for classified backup tape vaulting (148 containers) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Secret-level cleared personnel required for service delivery - Secure handling and transportation of classified and unclassified media - Services must include scheduled transportation and secure vaulting - Secure key management for media access

The information provided by the contractors may be used by the Navy in developing its acquisition strategy, Performance Work Statement (PWS) and/or Performance Specifications. 

Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Sources Sought notice or to otherwise pay for the information submitted in response to this Sources Sought Notice.
