The 35th Contracting Squadron at Misawa Air Base, Japan, is seeking vendors to supply and deliver two Air Tow Trailers, Model T16-10 or equivalent, for operational use. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, 35th Contracting Squadron, Misawa Air Base, Japan - OEMs and Vendors: - Air Tow (referenced as the model standard) - Products/Services Requested: - Two (2) Air Tow Trailers, Model T16-10 or equal - 10,000 lbs capacity - Steel deck (6'3" wide x 16' long) - 16-inch (12 ply) tires - Tandem axles - Electric brakes - Hydraulic lift mechanism - Required suspension - 12-watt solar battery charger for 12V systems - Battery charger/maintainer compatible with standard wall outlets - 3-inch center diameter pintle coupler - Shipping service for delivery to either Misawa Air Base, Japan, or DLA Tracy Consolidation Point - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Trailers must meet or exceed all listed salient characteristics - Equivalent models from other manufacturers are acceptable if they meet specifications - Cost-effective shipping options are preferred - Compliance with technical requirements is emphasized

Description

The 35th Contracting Squadron is seeking vendors able to source and deliver two (2) Air Tow Trailers, Model #: T16-10 or equal that meets or exceeds the below specifications. This requirement shall be shipped to DLA Tracy Consolidation Point OR if able, the contractor may ship directly to Misawa Air Base. The USG's preference is the most cost effective shipping.

Capacity: 10,000 Lbs Deck Width: 6’3” (75’) Deck Length: 16’ Deck Material: Steel Tires: 16” (12 Ply) Axles: Tandem Brakes: Electric Lift Mechanism: Hydraulic Suspension: required Solar Battery Charger (12-Watt): Capable of charging 12V systems. Required to charge the 12V batteries on the trailer and to provide battery conditioning so that the trailer can be ready to go at any point in time. Battery Charger/Maintainer: Capable of charging12V batteries on the trailer when it is stored inside during winter ops.
