The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) is seeking a contractor to provide regular mail transportation services for Highway Contract Route (HCR) 95569 between Blue Lake, CA and Korbel, CA. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Postal Service (USPS), Contract Delivery Services Office, Blue Lake, CA - Contact: Amy Warnecke - Service Requirements: - Fixed-price contract for box route mail delivery - Scheduled trips on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with additional trips as needed - Compliance with USPS security, safety, and operational standards, including mail protection and employee screening - Vehicle Requirements: - One vehicle with minimum 120 cubic feet usable load space - Must be equipped with roof-mounted warning lights and cellular phone for communication - Contract Details: - Term: October 1, 2026, to September 30, 2032, with possible short-term extensions up to 6 months - Economic price adjustments for changes in route miles, hours, and fuel costs - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; vehicle specifications are generic - All technical and operational requirements are detailed in the solicitation attachments
