Description
The RI‐MUHC aims to acquire a motorized inverted microscope system with fluorescence and optical sectioning capabilities to replace the old LSM700 system from Carl Zeiss. The new wide-field system with optical sectioning must generate images with resolution comparable to a confocal system, enabling users to continue their existing research projects. The system should allow reuse of old hardware components from the LSM, such as existing objectives and incubation devices. The contract duration is estimated to be 60 months. The procurement is conducted under the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) and the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA).
