Description

USMC Headquarters (HQMC) requires a Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) Unmanned Expeditionary (MUX) Tactical Aircraft (TACAIR) platform to improve survivability and lethality of 5th Generation Aircraft. The project aims to develop a prototype unmanned tactical aircraft with electronic attack capabilities, capable of launching and recovering from a short-field expeditionary runway. The prototype should be controlled by a ground control station and/or manned aircraft and demonstrated within 3-6 months of award. A Production Plan is also required to mature the prototype to a production representative platform.
