The Hawaii Department of Health, State Laboratories Division, Laboratory Response and Preparedness Branch is seeking a contractor for HVAC duct modifications and ceiling repairs at its Pearl City facility. - Government Buyer: - Department of Health, State Laboratories Division, Laboratory Response and Preparedness Branch (LPRB) - Products and Services Requested: - Installation of two exhaust grills, including all required materials - Cutting and capping of existing utility pipes above ceilings in rooms 2210, 2211, and 2212 - Removal and replacement of ceilings, including framing/supports - Repainting of affected areas with epoxy paint matching existing color (paint must be approved by LPRB) - All labor for HVAC duct modifications, ceiling repairs, and painting - Requirements: - Contractor must possess a valid Hawaii State building contractor's license and use only licensed specialty contractors as needed - Work must be performed primarily on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm); painting may be done on weekdays - Compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, including prevailing wage requirements - Certificate of Insurance required prior to onsite work - Award will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible offeror for all line items, subject to funding availability - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named in the solicitation

The Department of Health, State Laboratories Division (SLD), Laboratory Response and Preparedness Branch (LPRB), is requesting price quotations for HVAC duct modifications and other small repairs at the State Laboratories Facility in Pearl City, Oahu. The scope includes installation of two exhaust grills, cutting and capping existing pipes above ceilings in specified rooms, removal and replacement of ceilings, and repainting with epoxy paint. All work must comply with federal, state, and local laws including prevailing wage laws, and be completed by July 28, 2026.
