The City of Fresno's General Services Department, Purchasing Division, is seeking bids for the furnishing and installation of new pumping equipment at Pump Station 002B. - Government Buyer: - City of Fresno, General Services Department, Purchasing Division (Contact: Brian Barr, Director) - Products and Equipment Requested: - New vertical turbine pump assembly (must deliver 1200 GPM at 295 TDH, 1800 RPM, ≥83% efficiency, ≤12" diameter) - 200 LF of 12-inch column pipe (0.330" wall, butt threaded, PFAS free, NSF61 certified sealant) - 200 LF of 1 11/16" #416 stainless steel line shaft (water-lubed, brass bearings, nodular iron couplers) - Brass bearings with 2" water-lube neoprene rubber inserts (grooved for lubrication) - 21 LF of 12-inch blank suction pipe (stainless steel) - 10 LF of 12-inch perforated stainless steel suction pipe (0.100 slot opening, welded bottom plate or bull nose) - 1 x 12-inch US foot valve (stainless steel, spring loaded, neoprene rubber or Buena N sealing flaps, ≥300 PSI) - Certified laboratory pump test (ANSI/HI 14.6-2016, witnessed by Professional Engineer) - Disinfection of all new components (chlorine or NSF 61 certified solution) - Mobilization/demobilization and site cleanup - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All materials must be new and NSF61 certified - Pump must meet strict performance criteria (flow, head, efficiency, diameter) - Certified pump test required, witnessed by a Professional Engineer - Compliance with California prevailing wage laws - Completion required within 45 working days; liquidated damages for delays - All documentation managed through the City's Construction Management Information System (CMIS) - OEMs: No specific OEMs are mandated; approved brands or equals are acceptable.
