The Village of Lions Bay is seeking qualified and experienced consultants to complete a Natural Asset Inventory (NAI) for all natural assets within municipal boundaries. The project involves systematically identifying, mapping, and characterizing key natural assets such as forests, creeks, riparian areas, wetlands, and foreshore, assessing their condition and the services they provide. The inventory will support informed decision-making, budgeting, and sustainable community resilience to climate and natural hazards, and inform future natural asset management strategies and capital planning. The NAI is intended to be consistent with emerging Canadian practice and scalable for additional analysis in future phases.
