Gainesville Regional Utilities (GRU) is seeking a licensed, experienced armored courier partner to safeguard daily deposits and ensure same-day bank credit by 1:30 p.m. The vendor will pick up sealed containers containing cash, coins, checks, money orders, and related instruments from GRU locations and deliver them in the same condition to GRU's designated bank. The scope includes furnishing deposit bags and security materials at no charge, supporting scheduled returns and special/emergency pickups including weekends, handling change deliveries from the bank, and providing documentation of experience and equipment. The awarded vendor must have at least three years of comparable service experience and hold the required State of Florida Occupational License. Additional GRU locations may be added during the contract term.
