The County of Santa Barbara General Services Department is soliciting qualifications and proposals from certified qualified conveyance companies to provide design and construction oversight services for modernizing the existing traction system of the Judges Elevator at the Historic Santa Barbara Courthouse. The scope includes site inspection, development of modernization plans, coordination of additional engineering services, creation of bidding plans and specifications, and providing a State certified Elevator Inspector for site inspections. The project also requires reviewing historical resource documentation and ensuring compatibility with existing County ITD network and security systems.
