The Town of Canmore is requesting proposals from qualified proponents to complete burning of 109 piles or 87 for chip & removal and 22 piles which require burning of harvested landing-pile debris. Piles may be burned from November 1, 2026, through March 31, 2027 under acceptable burning conditions if burning is used. Piles may be chipped starting October 12, 2026, with earlier access potentially provided for chip and removal operations. A mandatory site viewing is scheduled for June 25, 2026, and contract extensions may be offered based on performance.
