The Town of Fuquay-Varina is seeking bids for the 26-01 Wilbur Jones Road / Johnson Pond Road At-Grade Railroad Crossing Closure Project. The project involves all labor, materials, and incidental items necessary for the closure and removal of the at-grade railroad crossing on SR 1403 (Wilbur Jones Road) at Crossing No. 465 809H, Milepost NS-249.93, and construction of associated roadway improvements as per the plans. Work includes demolition, grading, drainage, paving, turnaround construction, guardrail installation, pavement markings, signage, site restoration, and related appurtenances. All work must conform to project specifications, plans, and contract terms. Incidental work required to complete the project is included.
