Description

The Tribal Colleges and Universities Program (TCUP) provides awards to federally recognized Tribal Colleges and Universities, Alaska Native-serving institutions, and Native Hawaiian-serving institutions to promote high quality science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), STEM education, research, and outreach. Support is available for transformative capacity-building or community engagement projects through various funding tracks including instructional capacity, STEM infusion projects, professional development for K-12 STEM teachers, enterprise advancement centers, cyberinfrastructure improvements, partnerships, and small grants for research. Eligible applicants include federally recognized Tribal Colleges and Universities, Alaska Native-serving institutions, Native Hawaiian-serving institutions, and collaborative proposals with other higher education institutions. The program aims to enhance STEM education and research capacity at these institutions.
