The Wilmington & Beaches Convention & Visitors Bureau, in partnership with the City of Wilmington, NC, is seeking bids for the fabrication and installation of gateway and parking signage as part of Phase 1 of the Downtown Wilmington Wayfinding Program. - Government Buyer: - Wilmington & Beaches Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) - City of Wilmington, North Carolina - Office of the President/CEO (Kim Hufham) - Products & Services Requested: - Engineering and shop drawings for signage (3 sets) - Fabrication and installation of: - 3 Vertical Gateway Monuments (Sign Type A2) - 5 District Gateway Monuments (Sign Type A3) - 21 Parking Trailblazer signs (post and panel, Sign Type D1) - 6 Parking Identification signs (double post & panel, E1a) - 2 Parking Identification signs (single post & panel, E1b) - 6 Parking Identification signs (flag-mounted, E2) - 6 Parking Identification signs (dimensional letters, E3) - 12 Riverwalk Totems (Sign Type J1) - Permitting, shipping, insurance, and warranty services - Installation services including field verification, coordination, and protection of adjacent improvements - Unique or Notable Requirements: - All signage must use specified materials such as aluminum faces, retro-reflective vinyl graphics, and acrylic panels - Engineering drawings must be stamped by a licensed North Carolina engineer - Field verification of site conditions and dimensions is required before fabrication - Compliance with American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding and reporting requirements - Bidders must demonstrate experience with similar municipal or downtown wayfinding signage projects - Final shop drawings and aesthetic selections require owner approval - Warranty coverage for twelve months post-completion - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; open to qualified sign fabricators and installers - Project is funded in part by ARPA, requiring adherence to federal, state, and local compliance provisions

The Wilmington & Beaches Convention & Visitors Bureau, in partnership with the City of Wilmington, North Carolina, is soliciting sealed bids for Phase 1 of the Downtown Wilmington Wayfinding Program.
