Description
This is a research initiative to refine calculations of dam breaches for relatively small dams. The project focuses on developing improved methods to estimate the consequence failure of small dams. The approach will be vetted by the dam safety community including the Canadian Dam Association and the Government of Alberta. If endorsed, it could become a standard approach for analyzing dam safety of smaller dams in North America.
