The City of Lloydminster is seeking qualified contractors for the demolition and site reclamation of the Centennial Civic Centre at 5405 – 49 Avenue. - Scope of Work: - Demolition and disposal of the entire building, including concrete footings, foundations, roof systems, and concrete pads - Abatement, removal, storage, transport, and disposal of hazardous, contaminated, and dangerous waste - Removal and disposal of all electrical and mechanical systems, including the ice plant and associated piping - Removal and disposal of exterior infrastructure such as concrete, asphalt pavement, bollards, fences, signs, garbage cans, and benches - Removal and abandonment of water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer services within construction limits - Clearing and grubbing of vegetation, with a requirement to protect as much vegetation as possible - Import, placement, and compaction of owner-supplied clay backfill in excavation areas - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Bidders are encouraged to attend a pre-tender meeting - All submissions must be in hard copy format - Project is classified under construction and demolition services

Description

This solicitation is for the demolition and disposal of the Lloydminster Centennial Civic Centre located at 5405 – 49 Avenue. The work includes abatement and disposal of hazardous materials, removal of building structures and systems, removal of exterior concrete and asphalt, and clearing and grubbing of vegetation with protection of as much vegetation as possible.
