The City of Rialto Public Works Department is seeking bids for the Residential Streets Rehabilitation Zone 3 Phase 1 project, focused on upgrading residential roadways. - Government Buyer: - City of Rialto Public Works Department, City Engineer's Office - Products and Services Requested: - Comprehensive street rehabilitation including: - Traffic control setup and maintenance - Construction surveying and monument perpetuation - Removal and installation of Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) curbs, gutters, curb ramps (Case A & B), driveways, and sidewalks - Asphalt cold milling (2" depth) and hot mix asphalt (HMA) paving (2" thickness, 1/2" Type C2, PG 64-10) - Adjustment of surface utilities, valves, and manhole covers to finished grade - Roadway striping, pavement markings, and installation of detectable warning surfaces - Installation of chain link fences, gates, mailboxes, parkway drains, and traffic signal loop detectors (Type D & E) - Implementation and maintenance of Best Management Practices SWPPP (stormwater pollution prevention) - Quantities include: - 2,800 sq yd of asphalt milling - 5,600 sq yd of HMA paving - 2,500 sq ft of 4" PCC sidewalk - 4,200 sq ft of cross gutter/spandrel - 28 access ramps (Case A), 6 access ramps (Case B) - 14 sign and post relocations - Unique or Notable Requirements: - No specific OEMs or brands mandated; open to all qualified contractors - Contractor must hold a valid Class A license and comply with California prevailing wage laws - Minimum 50% of work must be self-performed by the prime contractor - Electronic bid submission via PlanetBids portal required - Project must be completed within 30 working days; liquidated damages apply for delays - Bid security and registration with the City’s bidding portal required - Estimated contract value: $2,200,000 - No OEMs or proprietary products specified; all materials must meet City of Rialto standards

This project involves furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals required for the Residential Streets Rehabilitation Zone 3 Phase 1 in Rialto, California. The scope includes traffic control, implementation and maintenance of Best Management Practices SWPPP, construction surveying, removal and placement of PCC curbs, gutters, curb ramps, driveways, and sidewalks, asphalt cold milling, hot mix asphalt paving, and adjustment of surface utilities to grade.
