The 42d Security Forces Squadron at Maxwell Air Force Base and Gunter Annex, Alabama, is seeking to lease a comprehensive solution for detecting, identifying, and tracking small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS): - Government Buyer: - Department of the Air Force, 42d Security Forces Squadron - OEMs and Vendors: - AeroDefense is specified for system integration compatibility - Products/Services Requested: - One-year lease of sUAS detection, identification, and tracking data service - Must provide real-time actionable intelligence, graphical user interface, and access to 30 days of historical data - System must operate on LTE networks and be accessible from government desktops - Must integrate with existing AeroDefense sUAS Remote ID Receiver - Includes software updates and maintenance - Two annual sUAS Alert/Detection Zone subscriptions - Coverage for Maxwell AFB and Gunter Annex, including up to 400 feet above ground level - Single monitoring point with single sign-on - Installation and calibration included - One system operator and train-the-trainer (T3) course - Certification and qualification training for operators and trainers - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Solution must be compatible with AeroDefense systems - All services must be delivered as a lease (not purchase) - Real-time and historical data access required - Training for both operators and trainers is mandatory

Description

The 42nd Contracting Squadron, Maxwell Air Force base (AFB), Al, is seeking sources from the that can lease a system for detection, identification and tracking of small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS) operating on/near Maxwel AFB and Gunter Annex. All feedback and information received may be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy. NOTES OF IMPORTANCE: 1. A solicitation does not exist for this requirement. This is only a sources sought synopsis, so please do not submit quotations. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this sources sought. 2. If the Government decides to pursue a solicitation, portion of your response to this sources sought may be incorporated into the final solicitation. Respondents are discouraged from submitting any information deemed competition-sensitive or proprietary. 3. Respondents will not be reimbursed for any costs incurred in responding to this sources sought. Information submitted will not be returned to the respective respondents. 4. Oral submissions of information will not be considered in response to this sources sought.
