The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, through the Fargo VA Medical Center, is seeking a contractor to deliver a turnkey, IP-based Public Address (PA) System solution. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Fargo VA Medical Center - Products and Equipment Requested: - Fully operational, wired IP-based Public Address System (headend equipment, amplification, conditioners, power supplies, battery backup, software, input/interface modules, controllers) - Wired speakers, microphones, amplifiers, control equipment, cabling, mounting hardware, and accessories - Power line surge protection (integral or accessory, no fuses) - New lockable equipment racks and network switches - Replacement touchscreen panels - Services Requested: - System design, procurement, installation, implementation, and project management - Deinstallation and removal of existing PA systems (equipment remains VA property) - On-site user training and 24/7/365 phone support (help desk, monitoring, calibration, maintenance) - System testing (operational, signal-to-noise, distortion, acoustic coverage, power output) and acceptance with joint inspection - Unique/Notable Requirements: - System must support zone paging, background music, priority paging, and interface with nurse call, fire safety, and LYNX systems - Redundancy, surge protection, battery backup, and compliance with NFPA and VA standards required - Expandable system with simple user interface - As-built documentation and user training required - Delivery and installation must be completed within 180 days after order - No specific OEMs or part numbers are specified; the procurement is open to qualified vendors capable of meeting these technical and operational requirements.

FARGO VA HEALTH CARE SYSTEM INDUSTRY DAY FARGO VA HEALTH CARE SYSTEM INDUSTRY DAY: OVERHEAD PAGING / PUBLIC ADDRESS SYSTEM Please join the Department of Veterans Affairs, Fargo VA Health Care System for an onsite Industry Day as it relates to Fargo VA Health Care System s need for a new Overhead Paging / Public Address System.

This invitation is open to all vendors who believe they might have the capability to provide the necessary Equipment to the Fargo VA Health Care System.

The purpose of this industry day is to conduct market research as well as to survey the market to ascertain whether-or-not there are other sources willing and capable of providing the needed supplies and services.

This Industry Day will also allow potential contractors/vendors to submit a non-binding statement of interest and possible documentation demonstrating their capabilities. The interested parties will visit the site on the scheduled day for a tour of the area and needs. The site visit will give vendors an idea of the requirements and what will be needed to successfully execute the acquisition.

Please Note: At this time there will not be any form of construction performed to accommodate any equipment. If a contractor feels they will require construction in order to fulfill the acquisition s requirements an explanation is requested.

Attendance at the scheduled site visit is strongly encouraged. The site visit provides Offerors the opportunity to fully understand the scope, site conditions, operation requirements, and any factors that may impact successful performance. While attendance is not mandatary, Offerors who elect not to attend assume the risk of preparing their proposal without the benefit of information obtained during the site visit. Failure to attend will not, by itself, result in exclusion from consideration; however, lack of familiarity with site conditions or requirements will not relieve the successful Contractor from meeting all terms and conditions of the resulting contract.
