Description

These services will take place along the southern U.S. border, to include Nogales and Naco, AZ, and other remote and austere environments in this region.
Vendors must have the ability to transport, emplace, and service portable latrines (porta-potties, latrine trailers), mobile handwashing stations, and dumpsters at locations across the southern U.S. border, to include in remote and austere environments. Vendors must comply with all local, state, and federal environmental regulations when disposing of waste. Vendors must have the capability to anchor latrines to the ground in a way that will prevent them from being knocked over by wind gusts up to 60 mph. Servicing of latrines includes pumping, cleaning, clearing litter and debris from a three-meter area around each latrine unit, and restocking toilet paper. Servicing of handwashing stations includes pumping, cleaning, refilling with clean water, and restocking soap and paper towels. Vendors must be able to relocate units upon 24 hours' notice from the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) or Contracting Officer (KO). For latrine units requiring electrical power for lights or other functions, vendors will be responsible for all power generation (connecting to utilities or portable generator).
Dumpster services shall include the use of large-capacity waste containers designed for the collection and removal of solid waste using specialized roll-off trucks. For purposes of this contract, the roll-off dumpster shall have a minimum capacity of 1,000 cubic feet. Services will take place 1-3 times a week. Additionally, vendors must have the capability to haul off and properly dispose of Concertina wire as part of dumpster services, in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
