This opportunity is for recurring runway friction testing services at Joint Base Charleston, managed by the 628th Contracting Squadron of the U.S. Air Force. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, 628th Contracting Squadron (CONS), Civil Engineering Squadron (CES), Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina - Air Mobility Command (AMC) - Products/Services Requested: - Recurring runway friction testing and inspection using Continuous Friction Measuring Equipment (CFME) - Testing at 40 MPH and 60 MPH in both directions on multiple runways - 18 runway friction tests and 5 mobilizations per year, for five consecutive years (totaling 90 tests and 25 mobilizations over the contract period) - Mobilization services covering travel, lodging, and incidentals for each testing event - Test scheduling, equipment calibration, retesting if required, and final report submission with recommendations - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Contractor must provide all personnel, management, supervision, vehicles, labor, tools, materials, travel, and safety equipment - Adherence to Air Force and FAA standards, including safety, security, and airfield driving compliance - Retesting required within 14 business days if initial results are unsatisfactory - Reports due within 7 calendar days after testing; government review within 5 business days - Small business set-aside under NAICS code 488119 - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation, but the use of CFME is required - Offerors must submit a completed price list and comply with the Performance Work Statement

Description

The Contractor shall provide all personnel, management, supervision, vehicles, labor, tools, materials, travel, and safety equipment necessary to perform the prescribed services within the Performance Work Statement provided within this solicitation.
