Description

The City of Atlanta, on behalf of the Department of Public Works, will initiate a multi-step competitive sealed bid process to procure a qualified vendor for the collection, transportation, characterization, and proper disposal/recycling of used oil and hazardous wastes across six fleet maintenance shops with underground storage tanks. The services include scheduled and emergency pickups, complete manifesting, chain-of-custody, and spill documentation. Vendors must be certified and licensed per EPA/DOT/OSHA standards, capable of handling specialty waste streams such as PFAS-containing AFFF, batteries, lamps, and other universal/hazardous wastes, and demonstrate experience with large municipalities.
