Description

The City of Elgin, Illinois is soliciting sealed bids for the 2026 McClure Avenue Resurfacing Project. The project involves approximately 13,383 linear feet of roadway and includes labor, materials, and equipment for hot-mix asphalt partial depth patching, undercuts, class D patches, asphalt milling, pavement removal, asphalt binder and surface courses, concrete curb and gutter removal and replacement, sidewalk removal and replacement, structure adjustments, new storm sewer installation, thermoplastic pavement markings, landscape restoration, new street lights, detector loop replacement, and other miscellaneous work. Bidders must provide a bid bond of 5% of the bid amount and comply with Illinois Prevailing Wage requirements. The project must be completed with substantial completion by October 23, 2026, and final completion by November 6, 2026.
