The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is seeking bids for the supply of thirteen (13) new kayaks for the Minnesota State Parks Rental Program. - Government Buyer: - State of Minnesota, Department of Natural Resources (DNR) - Contact: Sheri Karpenko, State Program Administrator - OEMs and Vendors: - Primary OEM specified: Wilderness Systems - Vendors may propose DNR-approved equivalent makes/models - Products/Services Requested: - Wilderness Systems Pungo 125 Sit-In Kayak (or DNR-approved equal) - 7 units delivered to Grand Rapids - 4 units delivered to St. Paul - Specifications: 2026 or newer, sit-in style, polyethylene, forest green, adjustable footpads, 150" length, 14.5" height, 29.5" width, 54 lbs, 375 lbs capacity - Wilderness Systems Pamlico 135T Sit-In Kayak (or DNR-approved equal) - 2 units delivered to St. Paul - Specifications: 2026 or newer, sit-in (2-seater), polyethylene/hardshell, sunset color, adjustable footpads, 162" length, 14" height, 31" width, 72 lbs, 500 lbs capacity - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Alternatives to Wilderness Systems models are permitted if they meet or exceed DNR specifications (see Exhibit C) - All kayaks must be new (2026 model year or newer) - Standard OEM warranty of at least one year required - Delivery required by specified date to Grand Rapids and St. Paul - Vendors must provide training manuals and sales literature - Bids must be submitted via the Minnesota Supplier Portal - Compliance with Minnesota diversity and inclusion goals is required - Proof of authorized dealer status required if not the OEM

Description

The State of Minnesota is seeking to purchase thirteen (13) Wilderness Systems kayaks of various sizes or DNR approved comparable models for use in the Minnesota State Parks Rental Program. The procurement requires new 2026 or newer Wilderness Systems Pungo 125 Sit-In kayaks and Wilderness Systems Pamlico 135T Sit-In kayaks, or approved equals, delivered to specified locations with detailed specifications listed in Exhibit C of the contract document. Responses must be submitted through the Supplier Portal by June 25, 2026, and questions must be submitted by June 26, 2026. The contract term is expected to run from June 26, 2026, through June 30, 2027.
