Description

The Town is seeking a qualified consultant to evaluate 10 non-designated properties listed on the Municipal Heritage Register (MHR) to determine which have cultural heritage value and are appropriate for designation under the Ontario Heritage Act. The evaluation is required due to amendments in the Ontario Heritage Act and related legislation extending deadlines for heritage property evaluations. The consultant will assess a list of 15 candidate properties provided by the Town's heritage committee and identify those with the highest potential for cultural heritage value.
