The Texas A&M University System is seeking qualified firms to provide Construction Materials Testing (CMT) services under a master services agreement for all Facilities Planning & Construction (FP&C) managed projects across its universities and agencies. - Government Buyer: - Texas A&M University System, Office of Facilities Planning & Construction (FP&C), Office of Procurement and HUB Program - Scope of Services: - Comprehensive construction materials testing services for all FP&C-managed construction projects - Services include: - Concrete cylinder compression tests - Mix design evaluation - Floor flatness and levelness testing - Cement mortar compression tests - Soil classification, sieve analysis, Atterberg limits, sulfate content, proctors, wet ball mill, triaxial, lime series PI and Ph methods - In-place density/moisture testing - Hot mix asphaltic concrete testing - Non-destructive testing of structural welds - Visual observations and inspections of footing subgrades, piers, piles, structural welds, and structural special inspections - All reports must be delivered in PDF format within 48 hours of testing - Services must be performed under the direction of a Texas Registered Professional Engineer - Firms must demonstrate experience with State of Texas public higher education facility projects - Use of the A&M System's Project Management Information System (PMIS) is required - Notable Requirements: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; solicitation is open to all qualified service providers - Subcontracting plan with a 2% VetHUB goal - Selected firms will work under direct supervision of A&M System staff - Contract Structure: - Master services agreement with an initial three-year term and two one-year renewal options (up to five years total) - Each project assignment will have a defined scope and not-to-exceed fee

The Texas A&M University System is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from companies with expertise in Construction Materials Testing (CMT) services. The intent is to establish a master services agreement with multiple companies to provide CMT services for all Facilities Planning & Construction (FP&C) managed projects within the A&M System. Services include providing necessary equipment, performing inspections, and delivering reports in compliance with State of Texas public higher education facility project requirements. Selected respondents will work under the direct supervision of the A&M System staff and may be utilized by other A&M System members.
