Description
INTRODUCTION:
This is a Sources Sought issued for conducting market research and identifying potential sources. This is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quote (RFQ), or an Invitation for Bid (IFB). No solicitation is being issued at this time, and this notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract.
The purpose of this notice is to identify potential vendors, including small businesses, capable of providing services to upgrade 163 Siemens Building Automation System panels for 90 facilities at Moody AFB, GA. Potential vendors must be authorized to work on Siemens equipment in order to maintain warranty considerations.
Work performed on this project will include the following:
- Audit and inventory of all 163 existing panels.
- Transition of each panel from Static IP configuration to Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) configuration to comply with Air Force Client Operations in a Networked Environment (COIN) v3 updates.
- Validation that DHCP assignments comply with Air Force cybersecurity standards and COIN v3 requirements.
- Testing to ensure proper device communication and no disruption to dependent systems.
- Documentation of post-change configurations and network behavior.
Technical Approach is as follows:
- Panels will be reconfigured to obtain IP addresses dynamically from approved DHCP servers.
- Network reservations and security controls will be applied where required to maintain governance and tracking.
- This model supports centralized updates and rapid compliance with future cybersecurity changes.
