Description

This Request for Information (RFI) from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) seeks public input to support HUD's implementation of the Build America, Buy America Act (BABA). The RFI focuses on the availability of domestically manufactured items necessary for the construction, alteration, maintenance, and repair of housing and certain other infrastructure projects funded through HUD's Federal Financial Assistance. HUD is particularly interested in comments from manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and other stakeholders regarding the availability and compliance of products used in HUD-assisted housing programs. The information gathered will help HUD ensure compliance with BABA requirements and evaluate the need for waivers or support for domestic manufacturing expansion.
