Santa Clara County is seeking a contractor for comprehensive landscape maintenance, irrigation, and sustainable landscape services across county properties. - Government Buyer: - County of Santa Clara Procurement Department - Scope of Work: - General landscape maintenance (routine upkeep, mowing, trimming, etc.) - Irrigation system repairs and new installations - Sustainable landscape design and installation (as-needed) - Service Categories and Estimated Quantities (annual, over 3 years): - General Landscape Maintenance: - 6,000 hours (straight-time, weekdays) - 300 hours (overtime, daily) - 300 hours (overtime, Saturday) - 300 hours (overtime, Sunday & holiday) - Irrigation Systems Repairs/Installation: - 4,500 hours (straight-time, weekdays) - 150 hours (overtime, daily) - 150 hours (overtime, Saturday) - 150 hours (overtime, Sunday & holiday) - Sustainable Landscape Design (as-needed): - 3,000 hours (straight-time, weekdays) - 30 hours (overtime, daily) - 30 hours (overtime, Saturday) - 30 hours (overtime, Sunday & holiday) - Sustainable Landscape Installation (as-needed): - 3,000 hours (straight-time, weekdays) - 30 hours (overtime, daily) - 30 hours (overtime, Saturday) - 30 hours (overtime, Sunday & holiday) - Materials and Fixtures: - Reimbursed at cost plus a fixed percentage markup (estimated $400,000 over contract) - Notable Requirements: - All labor, equipment, tools, materials, and supplies must be provided by the contractor - Valid C-27 Landscaping Contractor’s License required at bid submission - All-or-none award; bidders must price all line items - 10% bid bond required, based on total bid price for all years - Bids submitted electronically via Biddingo platform - No specific OEMs or product brands are named; services are labor- and materials-based - Estimated total contract value: $1,200,000 over three years

Description

The County of Santa Clara Procurement Department is soliciting electronic bids for landscape maintenance, irrigation installation, repairs and maintenance, and sustainable landscape design and installation services. The work scope includes countywide services requiring the contractor to provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, and supplies. Bids must be submitted through Biddingo by 3:00 PM PT on March 13, 2026. The contractor must possess a C-27 Landscaping Contractor's License at the time of bid submission.
